How it works

Four steps to in-network

You send documents once. We handle every payer from there.

  2. Apply to each payer

We submit applications to the plans you choose, with your CAQH profile complete first.

  3. Follow up every two weeks

Each payer is followed up on a schedule, so nothing sits unnoticed.

Questions

Credentialing questions

Still unsure? Email info@carerevenuemanagement.com or call (850) 515-4548.

How long does credentialing take?

Usually 60 to 120 days per payer, and sometimes longer. Medicare is often faster. Starting early matters, because you generally can’t bill in-network before your effective date.

Can I see patients while credentialing is pending?

You can see them, but claims for those visits may be denied or paid out of network. Some payers allow retroactive effective dates; many don’t. We’ll tell you which do.

Do you credential therapists, PTs and physicians?

Yes. We credential mental health clinicians, physical therapists, physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants.

What does credentialing cost?

$99 per payer, per provider. Setting up a CAQH profile from scratch is $149 one-time per provider, or free if your profile is already complete. Ongoing CAQH upkeep is free for billing clients and $25 per provider per month otherwise.
